Prince Rupert, B.C. has become a popular port of call for Alaska Cruises, as the ever growing cruise ship traffic has forced cruise lines to seek out new ports to accommodate the increased traffic.

Prince Rupert is located on a picturesque stretch of the Inside Passage south of Ketchikan, Alaska. This past summer (2006), the port was host to some 65,000 passengers on 48 cruise ships. While this number was down from 2005, the number is expected to keep growing in coming years.
